To order a FREE credit report, the three nationwide consumer reporting companies have set up one central website, a toll-free number and a mailing address. To order you can go to www.annualcreditreport.com, call 1-877-322-8228, or mail the request form to:

When you receive your credit report, carefully review it for accuracy. If there are any discrepancies in your report, it could be related to identity theft and you will need to correspond directly with the credit reporting company you received the report from to clear up any problem. To help prevent fraud and keep your credit report(s) accurate, it is suggested that you do request the report(s) annually.
